I would enjoy getting paid to edit professors' syllabi. Honestly! Dear Professor, I don't expect you to be perfect, but if you demand that you be addressed as "Dr." in accordance with your hard-earned doctorate degree, please take the time to review your syllabus (or have some underling do it for you) in order to present a professional overview of the class that appropriately reflects your title.
